Bio:
ANDREA HACKL is based in Amsterdam and works as independent choreographer, dancer & visual artist, cherishing the alchemy of different disciplines. She loves the art of dance and the poetry of the human body and has an international career allows her to work and tour with a variety of makers internationally. She’s danced with companies in Holland and across Europe (e.g. Emanuel Gat) and produces her own performative as well as visual art that cherishes a visceral, powerful poetry. For her, dance and art is about empowerment & freedom, themes that are central to her work.
Class description:
BODY POETICS is a training exploring dynamic movement through all levels in space, and in frame of the workshop which gives allows more time to explore, taps into different cognitive systems in connection movement exploration. Central stands the soft and vital power of the body that can be found within its fluidity & the imagination through our body.
