Immerse yourself in Swedish contemporary dance from the West Coast!

During two exciting days, you’ll experience dance at its fullest –
from vibrant, high-energy encounters to moments of silence and meditative listening.

The festival is a collaboration between the regions of Skåne, Halland, and Västra
Götaland, grounded in sustainability – in networks, travel, and long-term relationships.
Together with CPH Stage in Copenhagen, West Coast Stage forms a possibility to
experience both Danish–Swedish platform that invites international guests to experience
contemporary performance across borders.

We would be delighted if you could join us in 2026 for West Coast Stage. We also
highly recommend CPH Stage’s International Days, taking place just before our
event and only a short train ride away (under four hours). Together, the two festivals
offer a rare chance to experience Danish–Swedish contemporary performance in
one trip.

If you are an international presenter we will gladly assist with planning, logistics, and
practical arrangements to make your visit as smooth and rewarding as possible.
For some presenters we even offer free travel, accommodation and meals.
