Bio:
JAZZDANSKOLLEKTIVET M ART LAB, Malin and Åse are two members of the Nordic Jazz Dance Collective M Art Lab, specialized in Matt Mattox Freestyle Technique. M Art Lab developes jazz dance as an independent, contemporary art form through the technique and ar the same time makes the roots of jazz visible. The productions are created with the interest of making the art of dance avaliable and social. For example by site specific work, collaborations and by creating a social context in and around the performances.
VIDARE:
Måndagsmorgonklasserna på Spinnstudion är en del av projektet Vidare och vänder sig till dig som är professionell dansare eller har stor danserfarenhet oavsett vilken funktionalitet du har. Under klasserna utforskar vi hur vi kan hitta en mer funktionsöverskridande danspraktik och en hållbarhet som dansare genom livet, oavsett hur kroppen och funktionaliteten förändras.
Projektet syftar till att utveckla en funktionsöverskridande danspraktik på professionell nivå både lokalt och nationellt. Utvecklingsprojektet sker i nära samarbete med Danscentrum nationellt, Dansalliansen, Regionteater Väst och Danskompaniet Spinn.
Class description:
IN CLASS Through exercises, improvisation and choreoraphy we will, in a playful way, give you the possibillity to be challenged technically, physically and rhytmically. The class is based on Matt Mattox work but you don’t need previous experience from Mattox.
