GAETANO BADALAMENTI Born in Italy, he has later performed in works by Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Stijn Celis, Rafael Bonachela, Itzik Galili, Andrea Miller, Roberto Zappalá & Jo Strømgren, amongst others.
In 2017, he graduated as a physiotherapist at the University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam, and completed further studies to deepen his experiences with movement, bodywork & somatics. He is a certified Gyrotonic® & Gyrokinesis trainer, Somatic Practitioner & Breathwork facilitator. He is currently teaching in dance companies in Europe & internationally his ongoing research of movement practice, Somatic Movement Attunement™.
IN CLASS In the daily class, we will take a dive into movement via a series of guided exercises & tasks, partnering & group-interaction. The movement practice has its foundations on guided-improvisation, instant composition & texture exploration of physicality through an embodied approach.
