Balett: Spenser Theberge OBS! På Danzlagret

Spenser Theberge is an American performer and creator based in Los Angeles.  He’s a graduate of The Juilliard School and a former dancer with Nederlands Dans Theater I & II, The Forsythe Company, and a guest artist with Kidd Pivot and Goteborgs Operans Danskompani.

His approach to ballet is about focusing on organization, function, and the movement of the body through space, with an emphasis on musicality and agency.  A central goal in this class is to move away from the limiting aesthetic of ballet and instead use the technique as a tool for the dancers to explore their own dance value
