KYOKO MATSUMOTO a Japan native, graduated from The Royal Ballet School’s Teachers Training Course in London in 1993, earning the title Dip. RBS (TTC). In 1994, she became a certified Pilates instructor trained under Alan Herdman. Since then, Kyoko has been teaching ballet and Pilates across various schools and studios. Her professional dance journey commenced with a touring group in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1997, followed by her joining GöteborgsOperans Danskompani in 1998. Throughout her career until her retirement in 2016, she performed a diverse range of repertoires, spanning classical ballet to contemporary. Kyoko has been a certified teacher of the ABT National Training Curriculum since 2023.
