Balett: Aurica Muntoiu

Biography: Aurica Muntoiu is educated at the State Ballet School in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has also attended dance teacher education at DOCH in Stockholm, where she specializes in Classical Ballet. She also has a teacher’s degree for High School from Gothenburg University.

After a long and successful career as a soloist at Romanian Classical and Modern Ballet Company and Gothenburg Opera Ballet, where she danced the main roles in the great classics but also danced in modern works, Aurica has taught at Gothenburg Ballet Company, the Ballet Academy and the Professional Dance Program at the Angereds and Schillerskas High School.

Class Description: The class is based on physicality and musicality where the focus can shift between the dynamic flow of the movements and the position of the body, as well as between the coordination of the movements and their expressiveness.
